Earlier this year, Hog Roast Shrewsbury was hired to cater for a corporate training day taking place in April. The event is being hosted by a local educational resources company as they have recently upgraded to a new computer system and are now using new software to produce their materials. By hosting a training day, all of the staff will get up to speed in one go, allowing the company to resume work as normal far more quickly. Alongside the training, Hog Roast Shrewsbury has been hired to provide a classic hog roast for the event to keep the staff motivated and satisfied on the day. On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Shrewsbury team arrived at the office building in the morning, giving us plenty of time to roast the hog to perfection before the 1:00pm mealtime. Alongside the hog, we also prepared succulent pork sausages and veggie sausages, with all of the mains served in fresh bread rolls. Additionally, we provided sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling, as well as seasonal salad dishes and homemade chips. This created a delicious and varied lunch for the staff and was a great change from the usual pre-packaged sandwiches and salads. Our catering was a great addition to this event and helped the day to run smoothly.
