Hi Britt, For both myself and Craig Hart (Logistics manager) this was our second year of using yourselves for our Christmas meal and as per last year, you excelled.
The food was first class, your staff (Dave & Chris I believe) were polite, helpful  and friendly and this year was even better with the addition of the vegetables and dessert!
The below comment was from our Production manager Roger Smith: âIn my honest opinion I think it went well. Speaking to some of the guys here they also loved it. So overall, brilliant job.â

I can't describe how happy I was with Spitting Pig Shropshire!
From the initial enquiry, I was given lots of information from Kate and my questions were answered quickly.
I only had a party of 40, but the company provided me the equipment and pig, where most companies would not.
Joe delivered this the night before and was fantastic, gave us lots of advice and was a lovely guy to talk too.
We had no problems with cooking the pig and it was easy to serve.
The pig was free range and tasted incredible!
If I have an event again, I will 100% use Spitting pig.
No hassle, no issues and I got exactly what I wanted!

We have had a lovely evening thanks to the Sitting Pig company . The weather was bad but since all the food was under cover, it was fine.
The food was amazing. Pig roast meat tender with beautiful crackling and stuffing. Salads really nice, fries fried on the spot and lovely.
Everything was laid out beautifully.
After the event leftovers were packed up for us and everything that was left taken away.
The fact that everything was taken care of meant I could enjoy the evening as much as our guests.
Ours was a pre wedding party.
So enough energy left to enjoy the wedding day the next day!

We were absolutely bowled over by Joe and the team who came all the way from Wolverhampton to cater for our well-being day in school. It was a huge success!
They provided an outstanding lunch of hog roast rolls and wraps, with wonderful, delicious fresh salads, crackling and sauces. Everyone was served in good time and there was excellent feedback from all of the 125 staff. Many commented that they have never had such a fabulous and tasty meal at school!
Joe's communication before the event was fantastic. We were able to sort everything in preparation for the day.
The team arrived in excellent time and set up the gazebos and equipment quickly and efficiently. They were very polite and friendly - we would have them back in a heartbeat.
I have shared the spitting pig details with all staff as many commented that they would like to use the company for future events.

We ordered the festive menu as a delivery as we wanted to stay covid friendly.
To say we were overwhelmed with what arrived is an understatement... it was beautifully wrapped up, all containing the most amazing whole roasted turkey, cauliflower cheese, pigs in blankets and mince pies to end the night! There was so much to eat, and everything was fresh and made with such care.
Lots of lovely finishing touches made this a real treat and a perfect way to mark the occasion. The service was professional yet friendly and we will be using you guys again.

After a firm from Codsall Wood let us down last minute, we were struggling to find caters for our under 16s judo groupâs family day and had almost lost hope of finding one with such short notice. The team at Hog Roast Shackerley really stepped up to the plate. Not only did they turn up early,
prepare most of the salads and finding roasting the hog right in front of us, the food was also fantastic. I donât know how with such short notice, but they found a hog that was the exact perfect size for the amount of us there was.

Thank you for contacting me, the event was fantastic and Joe and his colleague (her name has completely gone out of my headâŚâŚâŚHazel?) were absolutely fantastic â they had to setup up around the chaos that is a stag do and did a great job of getting everything put together and served. The anticipation by the attendees was pretty large when they saw what was going to be served and it did not disappoint â everyone commented very positively at just how good the food was. We had circa 28 men and catered for 35 and that seemed to be the right amount of meat for the group â should you be serving a similar type of function in the future.
