Kayla and her fiancé first experienced Hog Roast Minsterley’s catering when they attended a friend’s wedding in late 2022. At the time, the couple had recently got engaged and were in the very first stages of planning their wedding- however, they knew instantly that they wanted our team to cater for their big day! The couple are getting married in August 2024 at a beautiful country club near their home in Shropshire. Hog Roast Minsterley has been hired to cater for the occasion with a round of canapes, followed by a classic hog and a dessert course. Our catering manager Joe was happy to cater for this occasion as we love it when customers love our catering so much they have to book us for themselves!
On the day of the wedding, we will begin our catering by serving a round of canapes as the guests enjoy the live music and entertainment. The canapes will include an Indian selection, mini fish and chips, succulent duck breast, and fresh salmon. This is a great way to enjoy a selection of tastes and textures without filling up before the main course.
The star of our menu is the slow-roasted hog, which will be cooked to perfection on-site and served alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving roasted baby potatoes and a selection of seasonal salad options.
Finally, the guests can enjoy our delicious dessert options, choosing between sticky toffee pudding and chocolate torte. The dishes will be accompanied by English cream and fresh berries to create an elegant and luxurious final course.
