Last Sunday Hog Roast Chelmsford, we had the pleasure of exhibiting our services at a busy events showcase. The event was held at the Chelmsford City Racecourse and the atmosphere came alive from the moment the doors opened for the Expo Day 1 show. Our friendly catering managers Kirsty and Julian were representing us, as we spent the day getting to know so many happy couples and understanding how we could turn their perfect vision into a reality.
If you were anywhere near our stand, your nose probably led you to our Hog Roast Chelmsford team. Instead of our usual classic slow roasted hog, we switched it up and provided beautifully arranged antipasti samples, which included a colourful spread of cured meats, cheeses, olives, freshly baked breads, and vinegary peppers, which had guests coming back for just one more treat.
Although the samples may have persuaded guests to visit our stand, many couples stayed for chats with Kirsty and Julian and found themselves deep in conversation about menu options and how we could create a bespoke experience for their special days no matter what the requirements are.
The team at Main Event Wedding shows created a lively and well organised expo, which included a variety of suppliers from venue stylists, entertainers and photographers. It was the perfect environment for couples to experience how everything might come together on the happiest day of their lives.
For us, the best part was the number of people who wandered over saying they’d already heard great things about our Hog Roast Chelmsford catering at previous events. We walked any of our potential clients through menu choices, serving styles and theme ideas. Of course, the antipasti platters definitely helped keep the conversations flowing too.
By the time we packed up at the end of the afternoon, we’d handed out stacks of brochures, answered dozens of questions and left many couples certain that we would be able to provide an unforgettable event for them on their special day.
