As a catering business we can look back at thirty years of experience in our industry and be very well satisfied. Those thirty years of Hog Roast Halesowen have simultaneously flown by, and yet also seem like a full life time since were more just a small, singular team catering out the back of a van for some modest parties and wedding celebrations. Now as a full franchise with teams up and down the UK, it is astounding where we have got to over three decades of catering excellence.
But our time pales in comparison to the impressive 50 year anniversary of our featured corporate customer of this week, Hayley Dexis. The Hog Roast Halesowen team were invited to Shropshire site here in Halesowen to cater for their celebrations, where staff from all over the UK joined together to mark the whopping 50 years of history in the engineering space. So special was the occasion that all of the directors and the French owners also flew in for the party. That left a lot of pressure on the Hog Roast Halesowen team to impress with our dining – a pressure which we were more than capable of rising to!
For such a special occasion we knew we had to pull out all of the stops. We figured what better a way to celebrate than with a good old British barbecue. Crafted in our very own gourmet style with high quality meats from here in the UK, our gourmet BBQ menu is a winner for any big occasion, especially one as special and celebratory as this. When there are 50 years to mark, you don’t do half measures. So, our menu brought the whole shebang: gourmet beef burgers, butcher’s sausages, chicken kebabs, veggie burgers, fried onions, Greek salad, gourmet slaw, fresh chips, gluten-free rolls and wraps, and a selection of fizzy cans and water for each guest. With 350 guests to feed, head chef Dave was hard at work keeping the hot rolls coming right the way through the afternoon!
