Your special day is the day where you get to have everything that you have ever dreamed of. It’s the day that, for many bride and grooms, has been dreamed about all life. To finally get to the special day is a big moment; you can only hope that everything goes off exactly as you have always imagined it.
But that is easy when you have a brilliant venue like Quaint Country Weddings in Welshpool, 90 of your closest friends and family members, and the stylish wedding catering of Hog Roast Welshpool! This was the case for Anna and Dan, who last week undertook their wedding blessings at this fabulous exclusive venue here in Welshpool, surrounded by their friends and family. With a wonderful service looking out over to the tranquil and beautiful Shropshire hills, Anna and Dan tied the knot before going straight into a packed schedule of drinks, foods, singing, dancing, pizza, carriages and more. To be along for the whole experience was a real joy.
Having caught just a glimpse of the ceremony while our Hog Roast Welshpool chefs put the finishing touches to our antipasti platters, roasts, and made up welcome drinks, we know it was a really wonderful one. To top it off, immediately following the ceremony our servers met the bride, groom, and guests with welcome glasses of fizz and juice to really get the day’s celebrations going. We then conducted our special lunch service, which began with our fine meat and cheese platters, before then moving to our signature hog roast, served with golden crackling, sage and onion stuffing, delicious herb dressed new potatoes, gluten-free rolls and wraps, and a veggie option of BBQ pulled jackfruit – all served buffet style for guests to enjoy at their leisure.
Amongst the bustle of our lunch service came the traditional speeches followed by a wonderful acoustic set, before the show really got on the road with a ceilidh. During this time the Hog Roast Welshpool team packed up our leftover foods and equipment to head out and leave the party to it. Our exit was not quite as glamourous as the rest of the party, as we heard talk of carriages to close out a truly special night!
