The wedding season is easily the best of any caterer’s calendar. For a team like Hog Roast Birmingham, it is where you really get stretch the entire length and breadth of your capabilities as a caterer; weddings call for just about everything in your repertoire, from the need for extreme high quality to the requirements for the service team to be at their very best during a long day with a tonne of guests.

And that is because we are talking about the incredible wedding celebration for Neil and Lorraine at Loyal Caledonian Corks, this past weekend! When Neil and Lorraine came to Hog Roast Birmingham and described their plans for a rock band themed wedding, we were immediately on board with the whole idea! They of course would be playing the frontmen, and Hog Roast Birmingham would be their backing keeping everything rolling along in perfect harmony for their special day.
Our instruments? None other than our mobile hog roast and grill machines. Our setlist? The very best of Hog Roast Birmingham’s American tour, with the Southern Slow roast album making its way to all 170 guests. We’re no one hit wonders at Hog Roast Birmingham as our southern slow roast well proves, with our signature hog roast making way for the spice and smokiness of our BBQ pork butt, minted lamb, and Texas style 24 hour beef brisket, and side accompaniments of roast potatoes, green leaf salad, and creamy, cooling red cabbage slaw. Plenty of excellent rock bands have come out of the American south, so our menu was right in keeping with the theme of the day!
By the end of the night, the bride, groom, and all 170 guests were singing to the same tune – Hog Roast Birmingham have the very best rock and roll catering of anyone in British wedding catering!
