At Hog Roast Shifnal we like to believe that our work provides a valued service to the lives of so many. We are there contributing to some of the most special days in our customer’s lives, from weddings to milestone birthday, anniversaries, job promotions, you name it. We like to think our work is for the betterment of many.
But that pales in comparison to the literal lifesaving work of our featured customers of this week: the fine folks at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. Providing lifesaving rescue services for six counties across the Midlands, it is fair to say that what these brilliant people is nothing short of heroic. Countless climbers and hikers will have their lives to thank to the people at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity. It was a privilege, then, to be able to cater a wonderful barbecue for them at a very special in-house event.
The team at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity are obviously worthy of some good eating, and it doesn’t get much better than a Hog Roast Shifnal gourmet barbecue. We rolled out our very best for these heroes, ensuring that they came away with well filled stomachs and plenty of refreshment and nourishment to keep on doing what they do with the energy required to save lives daily. With 4000 missions flown annually, there’s plenty of energy required day to day!
It is fortunate, then, that we could get them at a fairly quiet date to that the team could settle down for a glorious barbecue dinner. Hog Roast Shifnal’s head chef Dave took it as an absolute privilege to be called to serve the charity. So, he knew that only the best of our barbecue range would suffice: gourmet handmade burgers, butcher’s quality sausages, Thai chicken kebabs, veggie sausage, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, all thrown down on our exceptional mobile machine grill and roaster to cook for the 100 staff members in attendance. We kept the rolls coming as long as they wanted them, along with fresh gourmet coleslaw, seasonal leafy greens, and a mixed medley of regular and sweet potato fries.
