Celebrating an Incredible Winter Wedding with Hog Roast Kemberton

Hog Roast WentnorJust when you think the wedding celebrations are likely to be wrapped up for the year as the festive period of catering begins to take over, you soon find that actually it is never too late in the year to celebrate love – even when it is freezing cold out!

The Hog Roast Kemberton team had the privilege of attending South Wootton Village Hall just last weekend to cater for an incredible winter wedding of 100 guests. It was a lovely, intimate affair that helps to blow away the cold outdoors and see everyone get warm and comfortable in the majestic matrimony of true love. As ever with any wedding of such ilk, a good bit of comforting roasts never goes amiss either to help thaw out the colder outdoor temperatures! Fortunately, the Hog Roast Kemberton team were on hand to do just that.

While summer weddings are undoubtedly the most popular type that we tend to cater, we can’t help but love a good wedding late in the year. The darker skies and the colder temperatures lends perfectly to our particular style of dining. It makes the whole affair feel even more intimate, makes our dining even more comforting, and lends a certain magic to the whole occasion that you don’t quite get with a summer wedding. It’s the perfect environment to enjoy one of our famed hog roasts, along with its crispy, golden crackling which went down a storm at the South Wootton Village Hall! Not much more screams comfort dining than this fresh pork crispiness, produced fresh from our own hog roast as it cooks and draws up plenty of flavour which all comes falling away with the crisped-up pork skin.

To add a bit of freshness and colour to the menu we also of course had our mixed salads, our freshly prepared coleslaw, and herb dressed new potatoes for even more comfort dining to add to guest’s rolls and wraps!

Hog Roast WroxeterFrom the entire Hog Roast Kemberton team, we enjoyed our time immensely with this wonderful winter wedding, and we would like to lend our congratulations to the lucky bride and groom once again as the now celebrate their first Christmas together as Mr and Mrs!
