Maria owns a clothing line and employs around 35 team members at her office branch to work on designing and producing her clothes. Every other month, she hires an external caterer to serve lunch to her team, as one of the many incentives and perks of being in her employment. This August, Hog Roast Shifnal was hired to cater for the occasion, with our delicious slow-roasted hog menu. Alongside the signature dishes, we were also asked to serve a meat-free option for 7 veggie guests to enjoy on the day. All of our menus can be customised to suit your needs, so it was not a problem to add on a dish or two.
On the day of the lunch, the Hog Roast Shifnal team arrived at the office block in the morning to prepare our catering for the midday serving time. We began by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it was cooked to perfection, before it was expertly carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we served BBQ pulled jackfruit, which is a delicious alternative to pulled pork. The mains were accompanied by homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a variety of fresh salad dishes to create a varied and nutritious office lunch. Our menu was definitely a success with the team and was a great incentive to keep up the great work.
