Last week we had possibly the most summery of events that you can enjoy as a caterer. If you have been following along with these blogs then you will have no doubt have heard us banging on about the summer wedding season and how the Hog Roast Titley team factors into it. This time of year is always the busiest for our wedding catering services, as our team heads out to wedding services just about each and every week. The other thing we do a tonne of during the summer season is barbecues. A classic of the British summertime, everyone wants to enjoy a barbecue at some point in the season. With our catering, you get access to a brilliant gourmet option.
So imagine, then, an event that marries both (pun intended!). Yes, the Hog Roast Titley team were delighted to join James and Christina for their wonderful wedding reception at Titley Village Hall, where we helped mark the occasion under sunny skies with the most summery of all dining experiences: a great British barbecue!
But of course, we’re Hog Roast Titley, and this is wedding dining, so nothing comes as standard – even in our barbecues. Our take on the classic summertime favourite is to do everything gourmet style. We’re talking butcher’s quality sausages, well-shaped and seasoned to be perfectly flame grilled on our mobile hog roaster turned barbecue. We’re talking burgers made with fresh ingredients, quality beefs, and hand-shaped by our own chefs to throw on the grill for a perfect juicy burger. Then our chicken kebabs come with their own twist by coming seasoned with Thai spicing delicious marination in our own spicy sauces. As for our BBQ spare ribs: well, how often do you see ribs on your own barbecues at home?
Coupled with veggie options in our vegetarian sausages and grilled veg and halloumi skewers, and further complimented with fresh sides of herb dressed new potatoes, seasonal leafy greens and gourmet coleslaw, it was a perfect summer feast to ring in James and Christina’s special day.
