Hog Roast Shifnal’s catering managers Dave and Joe had the pleasure of meeting the enthralling couple Ray and Stacey at their wedding venue last week. The most exciting thing about their venue is that they are the first people to be getting married there!
The venue owner, the lovely Jan has created such an enchanting and magical space for weddings located in the tranquil and picturesque Shropshire countryside, a picture-perfect backdrop for any wedding. It is a year-round venue with the opportunity of getting married in a spectacular pergola where guests enjoy the ceremony circled on the lawn surrounding it. This is the option that Ray and Stacey have chosen, they can decorate the pergola with enchanting fairy lights and beautiful flowers and ribbons to make it a truly special centre of their ceremony. The other option was to have it inside in a ceremony room with huge glass panels looking out to the lush gardens and countryside.

Rob and Stacey have created a special menu including delicious canapés served alongside their wedding reception drinks, antipasti grazing boards where their guests will help themselves to a
great selection of cheeses, meats, artisan breads and a selection of nibbles that compliment these. For the main, they have chosen Hog Roast Shifnal’s super flavour-filled Southern Slow Roast with tender beef, juicy Chicken, and finger-licking Louisiana sticky BBQ spareribs. To accompany the delicious meats, guests will enjoy seasonal vegetables, dreamy Mac, and cheese as well as chips. They have requested ten portions of mini burgers, pizzas and hog dogs for the children attending.
