Hog Roast Prees Amazed Guests With An Outstanding Service At A Two-Day Wedding Celebration!

Grace and Oscar were delighted with the service provided by Hog Roast Prees last weekend. The happy couple tied the knot in a beautiful converted barn, nestled amidst acres upon acres of untouched English countryside with picturesque views stretching for as far as the eye can see.

Their rural wedding was attended by around 80 guests who enjoyed a wonderful day at the remote location, followed by an overnight stay in the on-site lodgings, which carried the event into its second day.

On the first day, which was Saturday, Hog Roast Prees treated the group to our Southern Slow Roast Menu, which perfectly suited the rustic theme. The feast, which offered guests the chance to indulge in some hearty American cuisine, was served at 3pm, shortly after the wedding ceremony had ended.

Hog Roast PreesComprising fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs, Cajun-spiced whole roast chickens, a pulled quarter of minted lamb, and a plant-based option of BBQ pulled jackfruit rolls with a vegan coleslaw dressing, the guests had plenty of tasty dishes to choose from! And as well as all of those sumptuous main course recipes, Hog Roast Prees whipped up some incredibly tasty sides, which featured our Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, Greek salad with lots of fresh and colourful veg, a batch of mixed sweet potato and regular fries and a tray filled with comforting mac and cheese. For dessert, guests tucked into a slice of wedding cake dressed in fresh cream and ripe berries before hitting the dance floor and boogying the night away.

The following morning, Hog Roast Prees rose bright and early to start preparing brunch for everyone before they packed up and headed home. This meal began with homemade canapé options including pan-seared fillet of beef, roasted halloumi and tomato crostini, roasted duck, smoked Scottish salmon and mini quiche, followed by a varied sandwich platter, salad side options, mixed fries and charcuterie boards covered in cold-cut meats, the finest Italian cheeses, artisan bread, olives and sundried tomatoes. This light and extremely tasty meal ended with a choice of cheesecake or vacherins of strawberries with passion fruit cream, which the guests adored.
