Music festivals are one of our favourite events to cater for, so the whole Hog Roast Oswestry team was in a great mood when we were hired to cater for a festival taking place this summer in Shropshire. The event has been hosted for the past few years and has been continually expanding each time, so this year the organisers needed to hire extra caters to keep up with the growing number of attendees. Our catering manager Joe will be serving our classic hog roast menu, which is the perfect choice for this kind of event. Not only does it taste incredible, but it looks and smells amazing too, which means that no one can resist trying our fantastic catering!
In preparation for the festival, the Hog Roast Oswestry team will arrive at the venue in the morning and get to work on preparing our menu on-site. We will start by slow-roasting the hog and allowing it to cook for around five hours. Once the meat is succulent and ready to carve, it will be served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will be serving homemade chips and gourmet coleslaw, which pair deliciously with our main dish.
