Frank and Stella have been married for 50 years this January and hosted a big celebration with friends and family to celebrate the occasion. The party was set to take place in a hotel function that was beautifully decorated for the occasion, complete with live music from a local band. In addition to this, Hog Roast Clun was hired to cater for the occasion with a delicious buffet menu. The family enjoyed our menu at a party they hosted in the past and enjoyed it so much that they knew they would book in again for future events. For the menu, we will be serving a classic buffet menu, followed by a selection of luxury desserts.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Clun team began our menu by serving canapes as the guests arrived. The dishes included tastes of fresh salmon, hearty duck breast, and an Indian selection. This was a great introduction to our catering and was the perfect way to begin the meal. Following this was our slow-roasted hog, which was cooked to perfection on-site. The succulent pork was served alongside sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, and homemade applesauce, as well as roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Finally, we served a variety of desserts, including sticky toffee pudding, profiteroles, and chocolate torte. The dishes were accompanied by English cream and fresh berries, as well as a hot drinks service. Overall, this was a lovely event and our catering was a great addition to the evening.
