Alan is planning to get married during the spring and his best man is currently in the process of planning his stag party. For the event, the group of friends are going to spend a weekend in a holiday home, enjoying a variety of games and activities. To add some luxury to the event, Hog Roast Craven Arms has been hired to provide a meal at the home for the 15 friends to enjoy. After looking through our menus, it has been decided that a classic hog roast will be ideal for the occasion as it is a delicious and hearty meal that can easily be served buffet style.
On the day, the Hog Roast Craven Arms team is planning on arriving at the holiday home with plenty of time to prepare for the evening meal. The hog will take around 5 hours to slow-roast to perfection so it is necessary to allow enough time for cooking and serving. Once the pork is ready, the hog will be expertly sliced by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. As well as the rolls, we will also be serving homemade chips and a selection of salad dishes to create a hearty and filling meal. Overall, this will create a filling and delicious evening meal that will set them up for an evening of games and activities.
