Recently our Hog Roast Ironbridge catering team of Dave and Joe were scheduled to provide catering at the Wishaw Golf Club. Our client, Adrian, had been in touch throughout the planning process and was looking to organise catering for his one hundred and fifty guests with a serve time of 7pm.
We arrived at the golf club late afternoon in order to get set up and the views were simply fantastic. By now the rounds of golf had ended for the day meaning there was nothing but rolling green hill views and a beautiful sun beginning to set. We put up our gazebo as usual and wheeled out our Hog Roast Ironbridge machine to get started on the cooking…
First up on todays menu was our classic hog roast. Our classic roast depends  heavily on the preparation of the meat before cooking. By gently scoring the skin of the hog and applying lots of sea salt and water we can ensure that it crisps up beautifully into that delicious crackling we all adore. Once cooked we would be serving the meat up in freshly baked bread rolls with lots of applesauce and homemade stuffing. Next we attended to the vegetarians by creating our brilliant grilled vegetable and haloumi skewers and then we were all set for the guests to arrive…
