You get to treat everyone with a sumptuous hog roast main and side dishes, though if you prefer, you’re always welcome to add on extra courses if needed and we can easily cater for guests on special diets too. This feast is served on bamboo tableware and we also provide wooden cutlery and quality serviettes. Depending on the weather, we can cook and serve underneath one of our gazebos, and we even clean up afterwards, leaving you to enjoy the day together with your guests. We arrive hours before service in order to set up our equipment and freshly prepare the local, free-range meat to be roasted and then we carefully watch over it as it sizzles away to perfection over flames for ages, before producing salty, crunchy crackling and tender, moist meat that just melts in your mouth.
We make our own-recipe apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing and serve the meat, crackling and trimmings with fresh wraps and bread rolls, and if you’re inviting any gluten-free guests, let us know in advance and we’ll take along some suitable rolls as well, as all the other ingredients in our classic hog roast are already suitable. We also serve hot new potatoes in a lovely herb butter and three salad dishes – our homemade gourmet coleslaw, a seasonal mixed salad with spring onions, cherry tomatoes, peppers and cucumber and a tomato and mozzarella salad that features hand-torn basil, extra-virgin olive oil, rock salt and cracked black pepper.
