On 6th May, the Hog Roast Shrewsbury team were busy flexing our culinary muscles to prepare a hearty feast for 280 delegates at a corporate event for CrossFit affiliates in Adventure Parc Snowdonia!
We were booked by Rachel to provide a great corporate spread for the group, which included: our signature gourmet hog roast, grilled chicken and roasted veggie skewers – with a tangy halloumi version as the vegetarian option, served a mixture of new potatoes and fries, along with regular and gluten free bread rolls. This was all served with aplomb on our sleek and sustainable wooden bamboo plates with matching cutlery.
When our catering managers Joe and Dave arrived onsite with our mobile catering maestros, it was easy to see why Adventure Parc Snowdonia is considered an adrenaline junkie’s paradise. With surfing, paddle boarding, biking, swimming, climbing and camping on offer, it is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and exercise lovers, with many activities certainly not for the faint hearted!
There was indeed no better setting for exercise and wellbeing professionals, and with Hog Roast Shrewsbury taking a care of the catering, our protein packed, freshly made and balanced menu was also perfect for the health-conscious CrossFit crew! We prepared all their food from scratch when we got there, using the finest ethically reared free-range pork available in the UK, and plenty of superior seasonal ingredients and fresh, locally sourced produce.
By the time the food was due to be served at 6.30pm, we were more than ready for action. When the almost 300-strong group arrived at the Hilton Garden part of the site where we had been asked to serve the food, they were met with perfectly prepared and beautifully presented food that had been carefully put together by the Hog Roast Shrewsbury team. We offered a warm welcome and swift, friendly service to our diners, and all 280 guests were served, and well fed within an hour.
It was a great event in a fantastic outdoor location, and the Hog Roast Shrewsbury team are really pleased that everyone enjoyed our outdoor corporate hog roast menu so much!
