Another great event to tell you about from earlier this month. Coming out to The Royal School in Wolverhampton to provide excellent catering for the staff and pupils: the Hog Roast Wolverhampton team!
Both a free state school and a boarding school, The Royal School required evening dining to head into the weekend with, so having contacted the Hog Roast Wolverhampton team we were more than happy to set them up with a royal feast.
Figuring that out of the 65 guests we would be dealing with quite a few teenage boys and girls, we knew we would have to pack a feast. For this reason, our catering manager knew that our signature hog roast should be the main event, with plenty more accompaniments to bulk out the dining for those hungry boarding pupils. We cooked our hog roast fresh that day along with its typical accompaniments of homemade sage and onion stuffing, golden crackling, and a freshly made apple sauce for some refreshing flavour to balance with the delicious saltiness of the pork meat. As a vegan and veggie alternative, our grilled veg and halloumi skewers (sans halloumi for a vegan variant) served with tzatziki dip and sweet chilli sauce.
For sides, it was a portion of chips, a portion of sweet potato fries, and a medley portion of both mixed together for a variety in flavour. We also put together a lovely and large tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad, an option of mixed leave salad, and our creamy gourmet slaw, all to be scooped up with plenty of gluten-free bread rolls and wraps.
We had everything hot, fresh and ready to go at the school dining hall for 7pm, meaning the pupils could finish up the school week, freshen up, and settle down for the evening and weekend with the best that catered dining has to offer in Wolverhampton. The Hog Roast Wolverhampton team were delighted by the politeness of the pupils and the graciousness of the staff on hand. We couldn’t have loved catering for you all more than we did, and we’d be delighted to come back again at anytime for even more regal dining at The Royal School!
