Sharon and Lee planned to get married at the beginning of August and they got in touch with our catering manager Joe to arrange some Hog Roast Oswestry catering for the occasion. The event was taking place at their home in Basildon, with 100 of their friends and family on the guest list. They decided on a unique wedding menu that Hog Roast Oswestry was happy to provide since each of our menus are completely customisable.
On the day of the wedding, we arrived at their home in advance of the 18:30 mealtime. We began by preparing our lamb roast, accompanied by homemade Yorkshire puddings and delicious mint sauce. We also served 13 free-range, whole-roasted chickens, served with chipolata sausages and fresh brown bread. For the side dishes, our team served a nutritious mixed salad with seasonal leaves, as well as buttered new potatoes.
To match the level of formality chosen by the couple, our catering was served buffet style on wooden bamboo crockery and cutlery. Our catering was enjoyed by all and there was a dish for every guest to enjoy. Once the guests had finished eating, we wrapped up any leftovers and began clearing away our catering station. Once complete, we left the venue to allow the guests to enjoy the rest of the evening in style!
